How do I prepare the pot for planting? |
Planting preparation:
- The GreenSmart pot should be placed where it will receive 6 to 8 hours sunlight per day
- Fill water reservoir through visual water indicator to a maximum level
- Place inner plate in the GreenSmart container
- Fill to halfway line with potting mix (not soil). It is important that the inner
- plate slots are filled firmly with potting mix as these slots will act as wicks and draw water to the plant.
- Add dolomite and fertilizer, the prescribed amounts according to the manufacturers, to the remaining potting mix to fill the rest of the pot.
